Data we process

• Account: email address, sign in with password or Sign in with Apple.
• Profile: name, sex, date of birth, height, profile picture. The picture is stored at an address that can be opened without signing in by anyone who knows it.
• Apple Health, with your permission: steps, active energy, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, VO2 max, weight, body fat, lean body mass, sleep, workouts and workout routes. The iPhone app does not write to Health. The watch app saves your workout and its route.
• Apple Watch, from Apple Health: heart rate, active energy, distance, steps, running metrics, cycling metrics, swimming strokes and your date of birth for heart rate zones.
• Apple Watch: wrist motion data per set, location and elevation for runs. Route coordinates stay on your devices and in Apple Health; our server receives segments with duration, distance, elevation change and heart rate only.
• Voice input to the coach and meal dictation, converted to text by Apple speech recognition.
• Training, nutrition, mood entries and your conversation with the coach. Meal photos and voice recordings are analysed and not stored.
• Data from services you connect yourself (WHOOP, Oura, Withings, Strava, Motra).
• Push token, app device identifier, language.
• Beta sign-up: first name, email address, whether you own an Apple Watch, a hashed IP address.

No advertising, no third-party analytics. In the pre-release version TestFlight sends crash reports and your feedback, including screenshots, to Apple and to us.

Recipients

• Supabase: database, authentication, file storage, Frankfurt region.
• Vercel: hosting of our server, Frankfurt region.
• Google (Gemini): AI service for the coach and for meal recognition, as described above.
• Apple: Live Activities, speech recognition (the recording may be sent to Apple), Sign in with Apple, TestFlight (first name and email address for the invitation, crash reports, feedback), Apple Health on your device.
• Open Food Facts: open food database, queried with the barcode you scan or your search term, without your account.
• Connected services: only if you connect them; we fetch your data from them.

Some recipients also process data outside the EU, in particular in the United States.

Retention

Until you delete your account. There is no automatic deletion period. Meal photos and voice recordings are not stored.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings, at the bottom, “Delete account”. After two confirmations we immediately delete your FitCoach data (training, nutrition, body metrics, goals, your conversation with the coach, profile picture) and the access to connected services stored with us. This cannot be undone. If you use the same sign-in for another app of ours, the sign-in remains; your FitCoach data is deleted all the same. A beta sign-up with the same email address is deleted with the account.

Or write to us at the address above and we delete your account and all related data for you.

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent at any time. Contact office@loooply.app. You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).

FitCoach and its coach do not replace medical advice. Coach answers are generated by an AI service and can be wrong.
